Principal investigator: Anna Kidová – Institute of Geography Slovak Academy of Sciences (IG SAS); Department of Physical Geography, Geomorphology and Natural Hazards: Her research focuses on fluvial geomorphology, where she examines the behaviour and response of river systems to extreme floods, ongoing processes and causes of morphological changes in the river channel, and issues related to their management.

Mgr. Ing. Daniel Škobla, PhD: social ethnicity, inequalities, environmental justice and social inclusion, Roma integration strategy. His position in the project will be that of principal researcher for the field work component, focused on identifying the living conditions and situation of Roma households and interethnic relations at the local level. Tomáš Hrustič, PhD: political participation of Roma, religion and religious conversion of Roma, poverty and social change. his role in the project will be participation at the field work oriented for the mapping of living conditions and households’ strategies in selected regions. Mgr. Tatiana Podolinská, PhD: stationary ethnographic research on religiosity in Mexico and Guatemala. Her role in the project will be participation in the field work and conducting in-depth interviews with members of the Roma households and other actors at the local level. Responsibility: WP4,5
